Project 2013...

... So, I made it through the holidays, where I visited relatives, got a serious case of being cold, having a fever, sore throat and all that goodness topped with some oh so awesome diarrhea.

I came back from my relatives, and a cant-be-named- chaotic country of millions, still a bit cold, and sick. Then I went back to work for a couple of days before my classes started (which starts this week). Realised I was sick of my current job, as I also started applying other places for a new summer job. While it is not realistic at the moment to get a new job I am still holding onto my current one, but it would be really nice to get a new job, I would like a change of environment and coworkers this summer... we'll see, though I am not overly optimistic about the prospects. Oh well, I know what you are thinking (without knowing where or what I do at this job I am complaining about though): I should be thankful to even have a job/summer job lined up.

Anyways, so the start of 2013 has been meh, meaning I have started planning this semester, school vise and other aspect-vise. I don't know why, but I am still super tired, and hungry!? all the time. So, right now it is probably good to get back to reality, classes and some routines.

Oh, and what is a new year without a new tv-show to obsess about right?

I came across, (after hearing about the show, and being excited a while ago) The Mindy project. And well, when you dig Mindy Kaling and you love  her in the Office, and her book: "Why is everyone hanging out without me? And other concerns". You will love her new show. It is like a smart Kelly Kapoor character meets new girl meets Bridget jones with smart office humor with some curry. (lol, what?) The best part, Mindy Kaling is a writer and producer of the show, and from all the episodes I have seen of the Office which she co-wrote, I knew it wouldn't disappoint!
In the show, Mindy is a doctor, looking for love. I know, soooo original right? But, the show is super funny, and has its own unique charm and thus seems different from other similar "doctor" shows or comedies :) It is probably because of Mindys character being a indian, "plus-size", girly, ditz-but-doctor character (Something that has never been shown before?)... So, yeah. I like it.
One thing, I at least want to take with me from the show and into my own "life project" is not being afraid of being your self, however crazy you might be, being stronger and going after the things you want in life (lol, i know a comedy inspired me THIS much, trust me I get "insipiration" from the most random things so don't judge!).

Enough ranting. Enjoy this clip from the mindy project:
